Micro-TESE is the microscopically assisted search for sperm in the testicle. This is the most advanced method of looking for sperm that can later be used in conjunction with assisted fertilization (IVF).

Our micro-TESE patients give us good feedback. Some dread a little ahead of the operation - especially when they hear that we are using local anaesthetic. Most people are reassured when they notice that the anesthetic is working and the whole thing is painless. In fact, it turns out that many people choose to keep an eye on the monitor while the doctor performs the procedure.
After that surgery, most people go home after a short time. The average sick leave period is about a week.
