This privacy statement applies to the following websites operated by Klinikk Hausken AS: www.klinikkhausken.co.uk, www.klinikkhausken.no and info.klinikkhausken.no. Klinikk Hausken AS is a fertility clinic with clinics in Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger and Haugesund, Norway. We are the data controller for all personal data collected through these websites.

When you use our contact forms, booking forms or consultation request forms, we may collect:
We use the information you give us for the following purposes:
To respond to your enquiry and provide healthcare: When you submit a contact or booking form, we use your information to reply, schedule consultations and coordinate your treatment.
To communicate with you: We may contact you by email or phone about your enquiry, appointment or treatment, including through our patient portal.
To measure and improve our advertising: When you arrive at our website via an ad from Google or Microsoft, the ad may carry a technical click ID (for example GCLID or MSCLKID). If you have consented to marketing cookies, we store this ID together with your enquiry. If you later become a patient, we may send the click ID and the time back to the ad platform, so we can see which ads actually lead to bookings. We do not share your name, email address, phone number or health information. We do not use this to build marketing profiles, send you advertising or target you with remarketing. You can withdraw your consent at any time in the cookie settings, or contact us to opt out.
To improve our websites: We use anonymised and aggregated analytics data to understand how visitors use our websites, so we can improve the user experience.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we process your personal data on the following grounds:
Consent: When you submit a form on our website, you actively consent to us collecting and using your information for the stated purposes. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us.
Consent to ad measurement: Click IDs are only stored and shared to measure advertising performance if you have consented to marketing cookies. You can withdraw your consent at any time in the cookie settings.
Performance of a contract: When you book a consultation or start treatment, processing your personal data is necessary to fulfil our agreement with you.
We never sell your personal data. Some providers process information on our behalf so that our website and services can function. They are our data processors, have signed a data processing agreement with us, and cannot use the information for their own purposes.
Forms and booking: Our contact and booking forms are provided by a HIPAA-compliant form provider. Submitted information is encrypted in transit and at rest, and is accessible only to Klinikk Hausken. The appointment itself is booked in our booking system, with login via BankID.
Website hosting and analytics: The provider that hosts our website, and our analytics tools, process technical data such as IP address, browser type and which pages are visited. Analytics tools are only used if you have consented, and do not receive what you write in forms.
Ad platforms: Technical click IDs (for example GCLID and MSCLKID) and the time of booking are shared with Google and Microsoft to measure advertising performance, as described in section 3. We do not share names, contact details or health information with the ad platforms.
All our data processors are contractually obliged to process data only on our instructions and in accordance with applicable data protection law.
Some of our service providers are based outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, or the provider's participation in a recognised data protection framework.
Our websites use cookies and similar technologies to make the website work properly, understand how visitors use it, and measure the effectiveness of our advertising. For visitors in regions where cookie consent is required by law (such as the EEA and the UK), we use a consent banner to collect your preferences before non-essential cookies are activated. For visitors in other regions, non-essential cookies may be activated automatically in line with local rules. You can manage your cookie settings at any time through the consent banner (where available) or your browser settings.
We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this statement:
Enquiry and contact form data: Deleted within 12 months if no treatment relationship is established.
Patient records: Stored in accordance with Norwegian health legislation.
Ad measurement data: Click IDs shared with ad platforms are kept by those platforms in accordance with their own retention policies. We delete click IDs from our own records within 12 months.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. All sensitive information submitted through our websites is encrypted both in transit and at rest. Our form provider follows strict security standards for health data, including HIPAA.
Our websites may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites and encourage you to read their privacy statements when you visit them.
Klinikk Hausken has profiles on Facebook and Instagram. Please do not share sensitive personal or medical information via social media. Use our contact form, the patient portal or phone for sensitive communication.
