The clinic in Haugesund has been Klinikk Hausken's head office since 2006. It is easy to reach on Karmsundgata, in the same building as the out-of-hours medical centre (legevakt) and the fire station. It is a short distance from the town centre and easy to reach from the airport.
Jon Hausken founded Klinikk Hausken in Haugesund in 2006, and you will still find him here today. He is a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology with nearly 30 years of experience in IVF and assisted reproduction. Because the founder himself sees patients, you can be confident that you will be working with the same experienced doctor throughout your entire journey.
It is easy to visit us whether you come by car, taxi or bus. There is plenty of parking outside the clinic if you are driving. You will find the clinic in the same building as the out-of-hours medical centre. When you turn off the main road, drive past the old dairy (Meieriet) on your right. The nearest bus stops are Storasundgata if you are coming from the town centre, and Meieriet if you are coming from Rossabø/Norheim.
We welcome patients from across Haugalandet, including Karmøy and Tysvær. As our original clinic, Haugesund is also where we see patients travelling from abroad for treatment with us.

From NOK 2,500 to NOK 3,900
Medication is charged separately.
If the doctor judges it medically unsafe to go ahead with treatment because of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) or other complications such as bleeding or infection, you will not pay for the first transfer after any embryo freezing.
The IVF price does not depend on there being an embryo available for transfer or freezing (a completed egg retrieval counts as one IVF treatment).
There is a separate price if the cycle is stopped before egg retrieval: NOK 7,900.
Extra ultrasound monitoring (beyond the two included in the IVF price): NOK 1,030.
